We’re excited to share that we’ve been selected to receive a $1 million gift as an awardee of the Yield Giving Open Call!
Our project was selected from among 6,353 applications from all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico after a process of multiple levels of review, feedback, and diligence involving peer applicants and an external Evaluation Panel recruited for experience relevant to this cause.
 For the past 28 years, MUJER, Inc. has served the needs of victim/survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual abuse using a comprehensive, victim centered, “one stop” model of service.  Care coordination, victim advocacy, safety planning,  individual therapy, 24/7 Sexual Assault Helpline, information and referral, emergency financial assistance and community outreach and education are the services provided.  Civil legal and immigration services are provided by co-located collaborative partners.
We are unbelievably grateful and humbled to  have been selected by the McKenzie Scott Yield Giving Foundation as an award recipient! This gift will help us sustain and grow our organization and will secure its long term goal of effectively serving the needs of families.
