Thanks to the continued support of the Ocean Reef Community Foundation grant, children have found a safe environment to express their feelings. MUJER has been able to continue to offer individual and group counseling to children, ages 5-16, who have suffered the effects of domestic violence and/or sexual abuse. This year, three of our clients are eleven year old triplets who were brought to MUJER by their mother who recently found the courage to leave her abusive husband. In therapy, memories are being healed of the verbal and physical abuse received from their violent father. THANK YOU Ocean Reef Community Foundation!
